impressive shot - like the unsaturated color of it

wow...this piece is enigmatic, yet tempting... i want to open the door!
i really like the texture of the doorknob where it is worn and a little scratched. the more i look at it, the more i like it.

The composition is fabulous. I like how the angle of the shadow is almost parallel to the angle of the side of the door - both are at a dynamic diagonal... ok, I'm going to stop talking about composition because then I'll start comparing how the three circles of the handle, knob and shadow are supplemented by the little circular screw and... yes.

In other words, that's a kick ass photo.
