Two pairs of our new steampunk head wings, in metallic silver and antique brass metallic Pic of the wings being worn: [link] (c) Outland Armour 2009 ************************* These come on hair clips or headbands, to be worn as costume head wings for any costume, club wear, or for your lolita coordinates. All of our head wings are made from high quality sintra plastic, cut by hand and sanded down to a smooth finish, then heat formed to the desired shape. We use only the best paints - these are colors from Rustoleum's line of metallics. I love the little flecks of glitter in all these paints. The resulting finish is simply gorgeous. After several coats of paint we seal the wings with a coat of clear gloss for a super shiny finish. If you're interested in a custom pair of wings, you may send me a note. I'm working on a small batch of wings right now, and will be listing them on our Etsy after Otakon, so keep your eyes peeled! |
