Artist's Comments

This is some of my garb for the 2008 Georgia Renaissance Faire. I'm not sure if I'm set on that skirt *with* this top, but I definitely like both pieces separately. I might make a different skirt to pair with it in future. Meh, we'll see.

Anyway, I made the skirt and head wrap for this outfit. The bodice was made by my roommate Erin several years ago for her own Ren Fest stuff but she doesn't use it anymore so she passed it along to me.

I most definitely had the song from Aladdin, "Prince Ali, fabulous he, Ali Ababwa..." stuck in my head ALL DAY because I was wearing that hood. And I had a couple people tell me I look like that guy from Assassin's Creed, heehee.

PS: Yes, I still hold the title Her Majesty the Empress of Brown. Lol. I like brown. Shoot me.

I particularly like the accessories and the doublet.

The detective must be a complete man and a common man and yet an unusual man. He must be, to use a rather weathered phrase, a man of honor.

I'm quite fond of the cup. Or else it is not really a cup and is only disguising itself to make me giggle.
